Ingredients

2 lobster tails

6 large sea scallops

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the lobster tails. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping at the tail fan. Carefully separate the meat from the shell without removing it completely, and lay the lobster meat on top of the shell.

Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large oven-safe skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter over medium heat.

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.

Add the seasoned scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and opaque in the center. Remove the scallops and set aside on a plate.

In the same skillet, add the prepared lobster tails, brushing the meat with the garlic butter from the pan. Sprinkle with lemon zest.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly firm to the touch.

Once the lobster tails are cooked, add the seared scallops back to the skillet to warm them through, drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter, and sprinkle with fresh parsley and lemon juice.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 2

                        - Presentation Tips: Arrange the lobster tails and scallops on a large serving platter. Garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges for a vibrant presentation. Provide a small bowl for melted garlic butter for dipping.
