Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm milk (110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1/4 cup unsalted butter (for garlic butter)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon salt (for garlic butter)

Instructions

Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Prepare Dough: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the frothy yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Knead Dough: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Form it into a ball.

First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape Rolls: Once risen, punch down the dough and turn it out onto a floured surface. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.

Second Rise: Arrange the rolls on a greased baking pan, cover with a towel again, and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the 1/4 cup of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake Rolls: Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Brush with Garlic Butter: When the rolls come out, immediately brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture.

Serve and Enjoy: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these garlic butter dinner rolls warm!
