4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)

8 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 cup chicken broth

Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and half of the dried thyme and rosemary. Set aside.

    Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

      Sear the Chicken: Increase the heat to medium-high, then add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

        Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add chicken broth and the juice of the lemon. Scrape any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon. Add the remaining dried thyme and rosemary, and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes.

          Combine: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them. Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

            Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the chicken before serving. Serve hot with sides of your choice, such as rice or steamed vegetables, and drizzle additional sauce from the skillet over the top.
