1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Vegetable oil (for frying)

8 slider buns

4 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 cup shredded lettuce

4 slices of pickles

2 tablespoons honey (for drizzling)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, pour the buttermilk over the chicken thighs and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).

    Prepare the Breading: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

      Heat the Oil: In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

        Bread the Chicken: Remove the marinated chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Then, dredge each piece in the seasoned flour, pressing them firmly to ensure a good coating.

          Fry the Chicken: Carefully place the breaded chicken thighs into the hot oil. Fry in batches, cooking for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Transfer the fried chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

            Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Place a piece of fried chicken on top, followed by a sprinkle of shredded lettuce and a slice of pickle. Drizzle a little honey over the top for a sweet finish.

              Serve: Place the top half of the buns on the assembled sliders and serve hot.
