Using fresh ingredients makes a big difference in bruschetta. Look for ripe tomatoes. They should feel firm but slightly soft. Fresh basil adds a bright taste. Always choose vibrant green leaves. Burrata cheese is the star here. It should be creamy and soft, not hard. Olive oil should be fresh and fruity. Balsamic glaze adds a sweet touch that balances it all.

Ingredients

1 large ball of fresh burrata cheese

4 ripe medium tomatoes, diced

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 baguette or ciabatta loaf, sliced

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the sliced baguette or ciabatta on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

Toast the bread slices in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

While the bread is toasting, prepare the bruschetta topping. In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, and balsamic glaze.

Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then gently toss everything together until well mixed.

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute.

Assemble the bruschetta by placing a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture on each slice of bread.

Finally, tear pieces of the fresh burrata and place them on top of the tomato topping. Drizzle a little more olive oil and balsamic glaze over the burrata for added flavor.

Serve immediately while the bread is warm and the burrata is fresh and creamy.
