Ingredients

1 pound lump crab meat, picked for shells

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup diced green onions (scallions)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or butter.

Mix Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well until smooth.

Add Crab: Gently fold the lump crab meat into the mixture. Be careful not to break apart the crab too much. You want to keep it chunky for great texture.

Form Bombs: Using your hands, shape the crab mixture into small balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get around 15-20 crab bombs, depending on size.

Coat with Panko: Roll each crab bomb in panko breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated for a nice crunchy exterior.

Bake: Place the crab bombs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve your Famous Crab Bombs warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as cocktail sauce or a spicy mayo aioli.
