1 cup freshly brewed espresso

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup steamed milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Whipped cream for topping

A pinch of cinnamon

Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Brew a strong cup of espresso using your preferred method (espresso machine, stovetop, etc.).

    In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the brown sugar and brewed espresso. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 1-2 minutes.

      Add the vanilla extract to the espresso mixture and stir well to combine.

        In a separate container, steam the milk until frothy. If you don't have a steamer, you can heat it in the microwave and then use a frother or whisk to create foam.

          Pour the espresso-brown sugar mixture into a large mug.

            Gently add the steamed milk, allowing the foam to swirl on top.

              Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.

                Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the whipped cream and add chocolate shavings for an extra touch (if using).
