Ingredients

1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup shredded provolone cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangular shape, approximately 12x15 inches.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the dough for added flavor.

Layer the sliced pepperoni and both types of cheese evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch border on all sides.

Carefully roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other, sealing the edges by pinching them together to prevent filling from leaking out.

Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with olive oil and the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Using a sharp knife, make a few diagonal slits on the top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
