1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup pepperoni slices (or diced bell peppers for a vegetarian option)

2 tablespoons pesto sauce

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Open the can of pizza dough and unroll it on a clean surface. Cut the dough into 12 equal-sized squares.

      In a small mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, pepperoni (or bell peppers), and pesto sauce until mixed well.

        Take one pizza dough square and place a spoonful of the cheese and pepperoni mixture in the center.

          Gather the corners of the dough square and pinch them together to seal the filling inside. Roll it gently into a ball to ensure it's well sealed.

            Repeat the process with the remaining dough squares and filling.

              In another bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes together.

                Place the pizza bombs on the prepared baking sheet and brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until they are golden brown and puffed.

                    Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
