Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and creamy peanut butter. Use a hand mixer or spatula to beat them together until smooth and well blended.

Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing continuously until you achieve a thick, creamy consistency.

Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.

If you're adding chopped nuts, fold them in at this stage until evenly distributed.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.

Pour the fudge mixture into the lined dish and spread it evenly using a spatula. Smooth the top to your liking.

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it firms up completely.

Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles for serving.
