4 cups water

4 black tea bags (or 4 tablespoons loose black tea)

1 large orange, juiced and zested

1 cinnamon stick

3-4 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

    Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags and cinnamon stick. Allow steeping for 5-7 minutes for a robust flavor.

      Remove the tea bags and cinnamon stick, then stir in the orange juice, zest, and honey or maple syrup until dissolved.

        Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled.

          To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice.

            Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional orange slices if desired.
