2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 slices of bacon

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 sandwich rolls or buns

1 cup lettuce, shredded

1 medium tomato, sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.

    Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Drizzle olive oil over them to prevent sticking.

      Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-low heat until crispy. Once done, place the cooked bacon on a paper towel to cool before crumbling it into pieces.

        In the same skillet used for bacon, cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

          In the final minute of cooking, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of each chicken breast and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

            While the cheese is melting, lightly toast the sandwich rolls or buns on the grill or in a toaster.

              Once the chicken breasts are cooked and cheese melted, remove from heat.

                Assemble the sandwiches: Spread ranch dressing on the bottom half of each roll, layer with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and one chicken breast with melted cheese. Top with crumbled bacon and close the sandwich with the other half of the roll.
