4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup all-purpose flour

½ cup unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

      In another bowl, beat the eggs until well scrambled.

        Place the flour in a third shallow bowl, seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.

          Take each chicken breast and dredge it first in the flour, shaking off the excess.

            Next, dip the chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

              Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres.

                Arrange the breaded chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.

                  While the chicken is baking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not burned.

                    Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

                      Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the rich garlic sauce over the top.

                        Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
