Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for optimal flavor)

2 cups cooked white or jasmine rice

1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup bell peppers (sliced, any color)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

1 tablespoon sriracha or your favorite hot sauce (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Rice: If not using leftover rice, cook rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, fluff with a fork and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and crispy, about 7-10 minutes.

Add Vegetables: Add sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sriracha, mixing well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.

Crisp It Up: For an extra crispy texture, remove the beef and vegetable mixture from the skillet and set aside. Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet. Then, add the mixture back to the skillet in a single layer. Let it cook on high heat without stirring for about 2-3 minutes to create a crispy layer at the bottom.

Assemble the Bowl: Serve the crispy beef and veggies over a generous serving of rice.

Garnish: Top with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for added flavor and crunch.
