Ingredients

1 lb kielbasa, sliced into quarter-moons

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup pasta (penne or fusilli) (optional for a heartier dish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

If using pasta, cook it according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned and slightly crispy. Remove kielbasa from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, stirring frequently until fragrant.

Toss in the broccoli florets and sauté for about 4-5 minutes, allowing them to become vibrant and slightly tender.

Reduce the heat to low and return the kielbasa to the skillet.

Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If desired, mix in the cooked pasta to incorporate it into the sauce.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and enjoy your creamy creation!
