Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 cup heavy cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

Optional: Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

Prep the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Sear the Salmon: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and sear for about 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Combine Ingredients: Add the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and herbs (parsley, dill, and chives) to the skillet. Stir well to combine and let cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Bake the Salmon: Return the seared salmon fillets back to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over each piece. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with additional fresh herbs and lemon slices if desired. Serve the creamy herb garlic salmon warm, drizzled with the sauce from the skillet, alongside your favorite sides.
