Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and let it reduce for 2-3 minutes.

Make it Creamy: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash more chicken broth to reach your desired consistency.

Combine: Return the cooked chicken and the broccoli to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Stir in the cooked penne pasta and toss everything gently until well combined and heated through.

Serve: Plate the creamy broccoli and chicken penne and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Additional Parmesan can be sprinkled on top, if desired.
