Instructions

Prepare the Biscuit Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Whisk until well-mixed.

      - Add the cold cubed butter to the mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

        - Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

          - Pour in the whole milk and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

            Make the Crab Filling:

              - In a separate bowl, combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped green onions, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Gently fold until well combined, being careful not to break up the crab too much.

                Assemble the Biscuits:

                  - Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

                    - Using a large spoon or ice cream scoop, drop a heaping tablespoon of biscuit dough onto the baking sheet, forming a small mound.

                      - Using your finger or the back of a spoon, create a small indent in the center of each mound of dough and fill it with about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling. Top with another tablespoon of biscuit dough to cover the filling, gently sealing the edges.

                        Bake the Biscuits:

                          - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

                            Prepare the Lemon Butter Sauce:

                              - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

                                - Once melted, stir in the lemon juice, chopped parsley, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt. Simmer for a minute, then remove from heat.

                                  Serve:

                                    - Serve the crab stuffed biscuits warm, drizzled generously with the lemon butter sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
