Ingredients

4 cups mixed salad greens (e.g., romaine, spinach, arugula)

2 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped

1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced

4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1 avocado, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar for a twist)

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large bowl, start with a base of mixed salad greens, spreading them evenly.

Arrange the hard-boiled eggs around the edges for color and protein.

Layer the diced chicken breast over the greens in the center of the bowl.

Add crumbled bacon on one side, followed by the diced avocado on another, and cherry tomato halves across the salad.

Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the top for an added creamy texture.

Finish with a scattering of thinly sliced red onion for a touch of sharpness.

For the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until emulsified.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad before serving, or serve it on the side for individual pouring.
