Ingredients

6 slices of brioche bread, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 large eggs

1 cup milk (or almond milk for a dairy-free option)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons butter

Maple syrup, for drizzling

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Fresh berries, for garnish

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.

Gently fold in the brioche cubes, ensuring they are well coated in the egg mixture. Allow to soak for about 5-10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the soaked bread cubes to the skillet, spacing them out to avoid overcrowding.

Cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes, then gently flip the pieces over to toast the other side for another 2-3 minutes.

Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease.

Repeat the process with any remaining bread cubes, adding more butter to the skillet as necessary.

To serve, drizzle the French toast bites with maple syrup, dust with powdered sugar, and garnish with fresh berries.
