Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade dough)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup sliced apples or pears (optional)

1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well to break up any clumps.

Brush with Butter: Brush the melted butter evenly over the surface of the rolled dough.

Sprinkle the Mixture: Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough, ensuring good coverage for maximum flavor.

Add the Ricotta: In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly on top of the sugar-covered dough.

Add Toppings: If using, layer the sliced apples or pears on top of the ricotta, and scatter the chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.

Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the sugar is bubbling.

Cool and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm with a drizzle of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, if desired.
