Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate into triangles.

Place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Starting from the wide end, roll the dough around the filling towards the point, pinching the edges to seal. Place the rolled crescent on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color when baked.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
