Ingredients
  

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the pot. Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.

      Add Garlic and Tomatoes: Stir in the minced garlic and cherry tomatoes. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften and the garlic is fragrant.

        Combine: Add the drained pasta and broccoli back into the skillet with the chicken. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired sauce consistency.

          Cheese It Up: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta mixture and toss well to combine, allowing the cheese to melt and create a creamy coating.

            Serve: Plate the Chicken and Broccoli Pasta, garnishing with red pepper flakes (if using) and fresh basil leaves for a burst of freshness.
