Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup black beans, drained and rinsed

½ cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)

1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional for spice)

Cooking spray or olive oil

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Add the taco seasoning to the beef along with 2 tablespoons of water. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

Remove the skillet from heat and mix in the shredded cheddar cheese, black beans, diced tomatoes, and jalapeño (if using). Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as indicated on the package.

Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each triangle.

Fold the edges of the crescent roll over the filling to make a sealed ball. Pinch to ensure it’s well sealed.

Place the taco bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or brush with olive oil for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with sour cream on the side for dipping.
