1 large loaf of French bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.

      In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and minced garlic, blending until creamy.

        Add in the garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the butter mix and stir well.

          Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.

            In another bowl, mix the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses together.

              Generously sprinkle the cheese mixture over the garlic buttered bread, ensuring an even coating.

                Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

                  Once done, take the bread out of the oven, and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley on top for a pop of color and flavor.

                    Allow to cool for a minute, then slice and serve warm!
