1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

¾ cup buttermilk

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.

Add Cheese: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese gently, ensuring it's evenly distributed throughout the flour mixture.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.

Combine Ingredients: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; do not overmix.

Pour Batter into Dish: Spread the biscuit batter evenly in the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake the Biscuits: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Cut into desired portions and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
