4 slices of thick-cut sourdough bread

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

    Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

      Toast the Bread: Spread a generous layer of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Place the slices, buttered side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
