Ingredients

2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 large eggs

2 cups sour cream

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Fresh berries (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll one can of the crescent roll dough and lay it flat in the bottom of the greased baking dish, pressing to seal any seams.

Make the Cream Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in the granulated sugar, mixing until well combined.

Add Remaining Ingredients: Add the vanilla extract, eggs (one at a time), sour cream, and lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on medium speed until everything is smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Casserole: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish, spreading evenly. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese filling. You can pinch together to seal any seams again.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Cool and Dust: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Serve: Cut into squares and serve warm or chilled. Garnish with fresh berries if desired.
