Ingredients

1 package of sweet Hawaiian rolls (12 rolls)

1 lb ground beef (80% lean)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

8 slices of cheddar cheese (or your choice of cheese)

1/4 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons mustard

1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

Fresh arugula or baby spinach for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large bowl, add the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

Shape the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty. Make them slightly smaller than the rolls as they will shrink while cooking.

Cook the Sliders: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip them over and place a slice of cheese on top. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Prepare the Rolls: While the sliders are cooking, slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached to each other. Place the bottom half in a baking dish and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on it.

Assemble the Sliders: Once the patties are cooked, place them on top of the mayonnaise-covered bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle the chopped pickles and drizzle the ketchup and mustard over the patties.

Finish with the Top Half: Place the top half of the rolls over the sliders, gently pressing down. Brush the top with a little melted butter if desired, for extra flavor.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Add Greens: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Before serving, top each slider with a small handful of arugula or baby spinach for a fresh crunch. Cut and serve warm.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 sliders

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the sliders on a wooden board with extra pickles and some chips on the side for a fun, casual vibe. You can also provide an assortment of sauces for dipping.
