4 hot dog buns

4 beef or pork sausages

1 cup mashed potatoes (prepared with butter and milk)

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup sweet corn (canned)

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup grated cheese (Parmesan or mozzarella)

1/4 cup diced pickles

1/2 teaspoon mustard (optional)

Olive oil for grilling

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Sausages: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Add a splash of olive oil. Grill the sausages for about 5-7 minutes until they are browned and cooked through, turning them occasionally for even cooking.

    Prepare the Toppings: While the sausages are cooking, mix the mayonnaise with mustard (if using) in a small bowl to create a zesty spread. Set aside.
