Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

4 slices fresh pineapple

4 slices pepper jack cheese

4 burger buns (preferably sweet brioche)

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup fresh spinach

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)

Salt to taste

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, teriyaki sauce, grated ginger, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix gently until just combined.

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Preheat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.

While the patties are cooking, grill the pineapple slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized and golden.

Flip the burger patties, and place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty. Grill for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.

Toast the burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until warmed and slightly crunchy.

To assemble the burgers, spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Add a dollop of sriracha if desired for extra heat.

Place the grilled burger patty on top, then add a grilled pineapple slice, avocado slices, and a handful of fresh spinach. Top with the other half of the bun.

Repeat with remaining ingredients until all burgers are assembled.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the burgers with a side of sweet potato fries, garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges for a vibrant touch.
