Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup vanilla pudding mix (instant)

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder until evenly mixed.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in the dark chocolate chips to the cookie dough.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and vanilla pudding mix until smooth and thickened. This will be your cream filling.

Scoop tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.

Press your thumb gently in the center of each cookie to create a small indentation.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet.

While the cookies are still warm, fill each indentation with a small spoonful of the vanilla cream filling.

Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.

                          - Presentation Tips: Arrange the cookies on a decorative plate and drizzle some melted chocolate over them before serving for an elegant touch.
