Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup red cabbage, shredded

1 avocado, sliced

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 lime, cut into wedges

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create a marinade. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

While the shrimp marinates, prepare the toppings. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with lime juice and set aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the marinated shrimp in the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until perfectly cooked and pink. Remove from heat.

Simultaneously, warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

Assemble the tacos by placing a generous amount of shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded red cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.

Drizzle the lime sour cream over the top and serve with lime wedges on the side.
