Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp cornstarch (if using frozen blueberries)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

If you're using frozen blueberries, toss them in a bowl with the lemon juice and cornstarch to prevent them from becoming soggy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the larger end of each triangle.

Add a few blueberries on top of the cream cheese mixture for each roll.

Starting from the larger end, carefully roll the crescent dough towards the pointed end, encasing the filling. Pinch the edges to seal.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and flaky.

Allow the rolls to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
