Ingredients

4 large buttery croissants

4 large eggs

4 slices of cheddar cheese

8 strips of crispy bacon

1 ripe avocado, sliced

1 cup fresh baby spinach

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice each croissant in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Spread a thin layer of butter on the cut sides of the croissants for added richness.

Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes or until they're lightly crisping.

While the croissants bake, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Once done, transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate.

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook sunny-side up or scrambled (based on your preference). Season with salt and pepper. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each egg in the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt.

Assemble the sandwiches: Place a few slices of avocado on the bottom half of each toasted croissant, followed by a layer of fresh spinach.

Stack two strips of bacon on top of the spinach, followed by the cheesy egg. Finally, close the sandwich with the croissant top.

Optionally, drizzle with a few dashes of hot sauce to add a little kick.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 25 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and arrange them on a rustic wooden board; garnish with a few extra avocado slices and a sprinkle of fresh spinach for a vibrant look. Enjoy your delicious, flaky breakfast sandwiches!
