Ingredients

500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons black bean sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooked jasmine rice, for serving

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the beef slices with black bean sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Stir well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes while you prepare the remaining ingredients.

Prepare the Vegetables: Slice the red and green bell peppers and onion. Mince the garlic and ginger.

Cook the Beef: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes without stirring, allowing it to sear. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until fully cooked. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced onions, red, and green bell peppers. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.

Combine and Finish: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything together and cook for another 2 minutes to heat through and combine flavors.

Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot over cooked jasmine rice.
