Ingredients

For the Taco Shells:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Banana Pudding Filling:

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

For the Topping:

1 cup whipped cream

Crushed graham crackers, for garnish

Additional banana slices, for garnish

Instructions

Make the Taco Shells:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

      - In a bowl, combine the flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Mix until well blended.

        - In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and egg until frothy.

          - Gradually add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

            - Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and flatten them into discs.

              - Place each disc on the parchment-lined baking sheet and shape them into taco shells using a muffin tin (invert the muffin tin and drape the discs over the muffin cups).

                - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.

                  Prepare the Banana Pudding Filling:

                    - In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and combined.

                      - Gently fold in the sliced bananas and cinnamon (if using) into the vanilla pudding.

                        Assemble the Tacos:

                          - Once the taco shells are cooled, fill each shell with a generous amount of the banana pudding mixture.

                            - Top each taco with whipped cream, crushed graham crackers, and extra banana slices.

                              Serve and Enjoy:

                                - Arrange the Banana Pudding Tacos on a serving platter. They are best enjoyed immediately for optimal crunchiness!
