4 ripe bananas, sliced

1 box (5.1 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/3 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until it starts to thicken. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. This will serve as your whipped topping.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well combined. If desired, add cinnamon for an extra flavor boost.

In a large trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer the dessert: start with a layer of vanilla wafers, then add a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by a layer of banana slices.
