Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, zested and juiced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut four pieces of aluminum foil, each about 12 inches long.

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, asparagus, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is well coated.

Place an equal amount of the shrimp and asparagus mixture in the center of each foil piece.

Fold the edges of the foil over the shrimp and asparagus to create a sealed packet, making sure there are no openings for steam to escape.

Place the foil packs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the asparagus are tender.

Carefully open the foil packs (steam will escape), and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.

                  Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the foil packs directly on plates for a rustic feel, or transfer the shrimp and asparagus to a large serving platter, making sure to drizzle some of the juices over the top for added flavor.
