4 large croissants

8 slices of deli ham

8 slices of cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Slice the croissants in half lengthwise to create a top and bottom for each croissant.

      In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, and rosemary, then add a pinch of salt and pepper.

        Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.

          Layer 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.

            Place the top half of the croissant back on and brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture.

              Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

                Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese has melted.

                  Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with fresh parsley.
