Ingredients

2 lbs crab legs (king or snow crab)

1 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning of choice)

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 2 minutes). Stir in lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Remove from heat and set aside.

Place crab legs in a large baking dish, arranging them in a single layer. Make sure to crack them slightly with a mallet or kitchen shears to allow the butter to seep in.

Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the crab legs, ensuring all are well-coated.

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crab legs are heated through and fragrant.

Carefully remove from the oven, and take off the foil. Be cautious of the hot steam!

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
