1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into bite-sized chunks

12 slices of thick-cut bacon

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

Toothpicks for securing

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cayenne pepper (if using), soy sauce, and honey to create a glaze.

      Take a piece of bacon and wrap it around each pineapple chunk, securing it with a toothpick.

        Arrange the bacon-wrapped pineapples on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
