12 large jalapeño peppers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

12 slices of thick-cut bacon

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a wire rack on top.

    Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the seeds and membranes using a spoon or knife, depending on how spicy you want them to be.

      In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until well combined.

        Generously fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, using a spoon or piping bag for easier filling.

          Cut each slice of bacon in half. Take one half slice of bacon and wrap it around each filled jalapeño half, securing the ends with a toothpick if necessary.

            Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared wire rack on the baking sheet.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
