Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenders

6 slices of crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss until they are fully coated with the brown sugar mixture.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the coated chicken tenders and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown.

Transfer the chicken tenders to the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the top of the chicken.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Once baked, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
