Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 cup strawberries, hulled and diced

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, deseeded and minced (optional for heat)

Juice of 2 limes

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the diced avocado, strawberries, and mango.

Add the finely chopped red onion and minced jalapeño (if using) to the bowl.

Squeeze the juice of the limes over the mixture, ensuring to coat the ingredients evenly.

Sprinkle in the chopped cilantro, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Gently toss all the ingredients together using a spatula, being careful not to mash the avocado.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary; you can add more lime juice or salt according to your preference.

Let the salsa sit for about 15 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
