Ingredients

4 medium russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, shredded cheese, bacon bits

Instructions

Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.

Pat the potatoes dry with a clean kitchen towel. Pierce each potato with a fork about 5-6 times to allow steam to escape during cooking.

In a bowl, combine olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

Rub the olive oil mixture evenly over each potato, ensuring they are well-coated for that desired crispy skin.

Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Carefully place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not overlapping.

Cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through for even cooking. The potatoes are done when a fork easily pierces through to the center.

Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm, and slice open the top of each potato. Fluff the inside with a fork and add your desired toppings such as sour cream, chives, shredded cheese, or bacon bits.
