Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak

1 medium onion, sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Add minced garlic to the skillet, followed by the sliced steak. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

On one half of the dough, layer half of the mozzarella cheese, followed by the cheesesteak mixture, and then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Carefully fold the other half of the dough over the filling to create a pocket. Seal the edges by crimping with a fork and make a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.

Brush the top of the stromboli with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Transfer the stromboli to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

                    Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve slices of the stromboli on a wooden cutting board with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
