Indulge in Homemade Garlic Butter Bliss Rolls: A Step-by-Step Guide
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (for the dough)
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter (for garlic butter filling)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 Prise grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- 1 Prise extra flour for dusting
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of flour and salt. Add the melted butter and the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough begins to form.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until well combined.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it onto a floured surface. Roll it out into a rectangle about 0.5 inch thick. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface.
- Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly to form a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, cut side up, ensuring they're close but not touching. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- While the rolls are rising, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Once risen, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the rolls. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the rolls cool for a few minutes, then brush with any remaining garlic butter. Serve warm for the best flavor experience!
