Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick-cut bread (sourdough or brioche)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch optional toppings (sliced bananas, fresh berries, or chopped nuts)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, blend until the mixture is fluffy and well-combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Spread a generous layer of the vanilla brown sugar honey butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place the slices butter-side up on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the butter is melted and the edges of the bread are starting to turn golden brown.
  6. Remove the toast from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute.
  7. Optional: Top your toast with sliced bananas, fresh berries, or chopped nuts for extra flavors and textures.
