Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or hazelnuts)
  • 0.25 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for a smoother melt)
  • 1 pinch sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal later. Set aside.
  2. Melt Dark Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Spread Dark Chocolate: Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer using a spatula.
  4. Melt White Chocolate: In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips using the same method until smooth.
  5. Drizzle White Chocolate: Once the dark chocolate layer has set slightly (but is still soft), drizzle the melted white chocolate over it in a zigzag pattern for a beautiful contrast.
  6. Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle the freeze-dried strawberries, chopped nuts, and mini marshmallows evenly over the surface.
  7. Sprinkle Sea Salt: Lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the toppings to enhance the flavors.
  8. Chill: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the bark is completely set.
  9. Break and Serve: Once set, remove the bark from the parchment paper and break it into pieces.

💡 Chef's Notes
